Agricultural Diversification Programme

Bramhi Foundation promotes Agricultural Diversification to help smallholder farmers improve their livelihoods through sustainable and profitable farming practices. The programme encourages farmers to diversify crops, adopt eco-friendly techniques, and integrate allied income-generating activities.

By reducing dependence on a single crop, farmers become more resilient to market fluctuations, climate risks, and changing agricultural conditions while ensuring year-round income opportunities.

The initiative focuses on Crop Rotation and Mixed Cropping to improve soil fertility, enhance productivity, and reduce pest and disease risks naturally.

Bramhi Foundation also promotes Allied Activities such as dairy farming, poultry, goat rearing, fisheries, and other livelihood options that strengthen rural household incomes.

Special emphasis is placed on Horticulture and Floriculture to encourage cultivation of high-value crops, fruits, vegetables, and flowers that generate better returns for farmers.

Through Market Linkages and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), farmers gain improved access to markets, better pricing, collective bargaining power, and sustainable agricultural growth.
